With a big white blaze and strange markings on his chest Jacque is a horse like no other. He's intelligent, and quirky, as a matter of fact, most of us at Grayson Meadows think that Jacque is part dog. He's nearly as energetic as they come, he has no bad attitude to him and is a very well mannered horse. As a matter of fact, if he does something wrong, or is rude he never means to be it. He willingly follows the instructions of everyone around him and he doesn't complain about anything. He's a very forgiving animal and if you treat him poorly he'll still love you the next day. Jacque is quite the explorer and if left to wander by himself will always find ways to get himself into trouble, not in a bad way, he's just rather curious and likes to explore. For that reason he bears the name of the famous explorer Jacque Cousteau. This horse plays fetch, yes, this is the source of why we think he is part dog. When he was a foal, Tanner was playing fetch with his dog. Jacque thought it looked so fun that he decided he wanted to try it, so one day Jacque was observing and Tanner threw the tennis ball into the pasture by accident and Jacque was the first one to snatch that ball up and he trotted right on over to the fence and dropped it for Tanner to throw again. Often times you'll find Jacque and Tanner playing fetch with Tanners dog (who has learned to stay out of the way of Jacques hooves the hard way) which everyone credits is the reason why he isn't fat. This horse treats every meal like it's his last and if anyone drops any food at all, well you're not getting it back (unless it's too hard to pick up). He's a poser, Jacque loves nothing more then to pose for cameras and always has his ears perked, there isn't a mean bone in this horses body. He loves having blankets on him, he'll always lift his head high and arch his neck and look around at other people like "hey?! See my coat? Look! Look at my coat!" He's an adorable teddy bear that everyone loves and he can easily capture the heart of those around him.

Jacque is a very go with the flow type of runner, that is until its time to get going, then he knows its time to get down to business. Jacque will break slower than most and settle mid-pack, he doesn't mind turf, or dirt in his face and will run along calmly from there. As soon as the final turn comes along, he'll start to pick off his opponents, and when the stretch opens up he fires away. Racing is a total game to him and he loves winning, he'll always squeal with joy after he's won a race and will hop all around the track with his head held high and the whites of his eyes to be seen as if to say, "did you see that? huh! cool wasn't it?"
